Getting Started at CrossFit San Jose:

Due to the intense nature of CrossFit, client safety considerations and instructor bandwidth, we require that potential new clients are introduced to Crossfit in one of the following ways before being allowed to participate in group classes. *Note – If you are visiting us from another CrossFit affiliate all we require is a signed waiver and a drop in fee.

1. Introduction to CrossFit – This class runs three times a week for 12 sessions and is a basics class that will teach new members the CrossFit exercises. These classes are held in a smaller group setting than our regular group classes. Individuals will get more instruction time from the trainers as well as participate in scaled WODs (Workout of the Day) in order to prepare them for regular group classes. The cost of this class is $150 for 12 sessions. Please plan on making all the sessions as missing may impact your moving on into the regular crossfit group classes, and could necessitate additional private sessions (see below).

2. Personal one on one training sessions – Some clients prefer to get started in a more personal setting and want to take a number of private sessions rather than join our “Intro” class. To be effective we have found that a minimum of 5 sessions are usually required. Individual rates run $85 per hour.
